TOUR ITINERARY:
DAY 1) April 5 ROYAL AIR MAROC FLIGHT JFK / CASABLANCA
DAY 2) April 6 CASABLANCA / RABAT
Morning arrival and assistance by your host at Mohammed V Airport.
transfer to the hotel then sightseeing tour of Casablanca, principal
city in Morocco. Your visit will include the central market,
the Habous district, the Royal Palace, the Mohamed V square, the
residential area of Anfa and the Hassan II Mosque. Optional sea food
lunch at the Corniche in Ain Diab (coast line). Afternoon departure
to Rabat, the capital of the nation. Our visit begins in the Medina
with the Kasbah of the Oudayas.
DAY 3) April 7 RABAT / MEKNES / FES
After breakfast, departure to Meknes via Volubilis and Moulay Idris.
This excursion embodies much of Morocco's early history.
DAY 4) April 8 THE IMPERIAL CITY OF FES
Full-day tour of the city of Fes, the jewel of Spanish-Arabic
civilization.
DAY 5) April 9 FES/AZROU/MIDELT/ERFOUD/MERZOUGA
After breakfast In the morning an enjoyable drive across the Atlas
Mountain. Azrou, the first real town of the Middle Atlas stands at a
major junction of routes. Dinner and overnight in Merzouga: under
tent.
DAY 6) April 10 MARZOUGA / OUARZAZATE
An early wake up call for sunrise excursion across the dunes. An
experience not to be missed is to watch the sun as it rises
from the top of the golden dunes, a spectacular view of the Sahara
which no words can describe. Back to the tent for special breakfast
with the Tuareg people, then continue on to explore the holy ancient
city of Rissani by your 4X4 Land Rover. Traveling through the Dades
valley in spring you will find the bloom of thousands of Persian
roses and
thousands of kasbahs scattered along the Dades River. Dinner and
overnight at the hotel in Ouarzazate.
DAY 7) April 11 OUARZAZATE/ MARRAKECH
Tour Ouarzazate, Continue on to Marrakech with a visit to AIT
BENHADDOU. Dinner and overnight in Marrakech.
DAY 8) April 12 THE IMPERIAL CITY OF MARRAKECH
Full-day tour of historic visit of Marrakech will include the Menara,
a magnificent pool surrounded by flowers, reflecting the image of a
beautiful Moorish construction with the Atlas mountains as a
backdrop. Optional dinner at "Chez Ali" under Berber tents.
DAY 9) April 13 MARRAKECH / OURIKA / MARRAKECH
Excursion to the Ourika Valley where we will visit Berber souks and
Jewish Shrines. Lunch, then an afternoon of shopping.
DAY 10) April 14 MARRAKECH / ESSAOUIRA
Morning departure to Essaouira (Mogador), on the rugged Atlantic
Coast. Lunch at Chalet de la Mer. Dinner and overnight at the Hotel.
DAY 11) April 15 ESSAOUIRA / EL JADIDA / CASABLANCA
After breakfast departure to Casablanca via El Jadida. Stop at El
Oualidia for an exquisite seafood lunch. Departure along the
coastline to El Jadida and visit the citadel. Continuation to
Casablanca. Dinner and overnight at the Sheraton Hotel, Casablanca.
DAY 12) April 16 CASABLANCA / AIRPORT MOHAMMED V
Morning departure to Mohammed V Airport with a memorable trip of a
life time.
MEALS Daily breakfast and choice in between lunch or dinner at the
hotel.
TRANSPORTATION Round trip air fare from JFK to Casablanca. Our full
assistance from arrival to departure. Ground Transportation by

TOUR ITINERARY
Saturday July 5 -- Evening departure on Egypt Air to
Cairo, Egypt.
Sunday July 6 -- Afternoon arrival at Cairo International Airport
and transfer to our five star hotel. Group orientation, then the
balance of the day devoted to shopping and relaxation.
Monday, July 7 -- Dr. Rashidi's first lecture and than a ull day on
the Giza Plateau visiting the exciting Giza Pyramids and Great
Sphinx, the Solar Boat, optional camel ride. Dinner at restaurant.
Overnight in hotel.
Tuesday July 8 -- Second lecture by Dr. Rashidi. After breakfast
transfer to the pyramid fields and temples of Sakkara, Egypt. Visit
the Step Pyramid designed by multi-genius Imhotep, Zoser's Pyramid
Enclosure, King Teti's pyramid chamber, the Tomb of Ptah Hotep and
the Imhotep Museum. Transfer to the ancient city of
Memphis and see the enormous statues of Ramses the Great. Enjoy
lunch in Sakkara and then visit a carpet school.
Wednesday July 9 -- Morning lecture by Dr. Rashidi then transfer to
the fabulous Egyptian Museum. After the Egyptian Museum visit the
perfume bazaar and then lunch. Afternoon visit to Old Cairo. Take
the night train to Luxor, Egypt. Dinner aboard the train.
Thursday July 10 -- Early morning arrival in Luxor, in Upper Egypt,
then transfer to our five star hotel. Morning orientation and
lecture by Dr. Rashidi then transfer to the Valley the Queens, Tombs
of the
Nobles, the Medinet Habu mortuary temple complex, and the Ramesseum
mortuary temple. Lunch and then an afternoon visit to the Luxor
Museum. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Luxor. Luxor is Dr.
Rashidi's favorite place in Egypt and contains an estimated
eighty percent of the all of the monuments of Ancient Egypt!
Friday July 11 -- Full day drive through the Egyptian countryside to
visit the exquisite temples of Hathor at Dendera and Seti I and
Ramses II at Abydos. Dinner and overnight in hotel in Luxor.
Saturday July 12 -- Morning lecture by Dr. Rashidi then check into
our cruise ship for four exciting days and nights on the Nile! All
meals served on board ship. Proceed to the east bank of the Nile for
a never to be forgotten tour of the Luxor and Karnak temples.
Overnight aboard cruise ship.
Sunday July 13 -- After breakfast proceed to the west bank of the
Nile. Visit the Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut's splendid
mortuary temple. Visit an alabaster factory. Visit the Colossi of
Memnon. Sail to Edfu. Lunch and dinner aboard the ship.
Monday July 14 -- Breakfast aboard cruise ship then visit the temple
of Horus at Edfu and sail to Kom Ombo. Lunch during cruise and then
visit the Kom Ombo temple before sailing to Aswan. Overnight and
dinner aboard cruise ship.
Tuesday July 15 -- Breakfast, lecture by Dr. Rashidi and then visit
the High Dam and the Unfinished Obelisk. Balance the day at leisure.
Wednesday July 16 -- After breakfast check out of our cruise ship
and check into our five star hotel in Aswan. Visit the magnificent
temples on Philae Island and take a boat ride on the Nile.
Thursday July 17 -- Early morning bus ride south to the stupendous
temples at Abu Simbel and then visit the Nubian Museum in Aswan.
Take the night train from Aswan to Cairo.
Friday July 18 -- Early morning arrival at Cairo rail station and
transfer for a full day of sight seeing in Alexandria. Return to
Giza to our five star hotel. Evening farewell dinner.
Saturday July 19 -- Early morning transfer to airport and departure
to JFK. End of a joyous trip!

Thursday, July 25 -- City tour of Accra. Tour the metropolitan city
of Accra by visiting the DuBois Centre for Pan African History and
Culture, the third and final burial place for Ghana's first
president,
Kwame Nkrumah and the Accra Art Center for souvenirs.
Return to hotel, dinner and overnight.
Friday, July 26 -- Depart Accra for Akosombo. Dinner
and overnight.
Saturday, July 27 -- Day at Akosombo, dinner and
overnight.
Sunday, July 28 -- Tour the Ashanti Region of Ghana by
visiting the Bonwire Kente village. Transfer to hotel.
Monday, July 29 -- Morning visit to the seat of the Asante Kingdom,
Manhyia Palace Museum for history about the Asante Kingdom via the
Okomfo Anokye sword site.
Tuesday, July 30 -- Depart Kumasi and drive through the old coastal
villages of the central region of Ghana. Stop enroute to visit the
Assin Manso Slave River (Donkosuo) where captives of the Trans
Atlantic slave trade had their last bath. Arrive cape coast.
Transfer to hotel.
Wednesday, August 1 -- Morning tour to Elmina Castle, visit the
"Door of No Return" via the Cape Coast castle and the Smithsonian
museum. Return to hotel, dinner and then time for reflection.
Thursday, August 2 -- Day at Elmina. Dinner and then retire for the
night.
Friday, August 3 -- Depart Elmina to Accra. Transfer to Airport for
your flight to Cairo.
Saturday, August 4 -- Morning flight from Cairo to JFK. End of
journey.
